Is the Budapest Airport Shuttle Bus a good option?
In our opinion, taking the Budapest airport bus 100E is a great option. It’s the most cost-effective, and it takes you between the airport and the city center is 40 minutes. For only HUF 2,500 you get a direct trip on a bus that is running constantly, day and night.
The downside? During the day it can get full, and you might have to stand, for 40 minutes, on a crowded bus. It doesn’t happen all the time, of course – but in case you want other alternatives, you have them. Taking a taxi, for example, would cost you approximately 8,000-13,000 HUF. It’s more convenient, but wouldn’t be much faster.
